Lunar New Year TICKETS

 

What better way to celebrate Deer Lake School’s big beautiful multicultural community than at the annual Lunar New Year Multicultural Festival? 

WHEN:     Sat. Feb. 8 at 6:30 pm        WHERE:     Deer Lake School, 5550 Gilpin Street, Burnaby

The Lunar New Year is a popular holiday in our city for family celebrations and it provides the perfect opportunity for DLS to honour the rich multicultural diversity of our school family.  There will be delicious food from various countries, live multicultural music, crafts, games, face painting and so much more!  This year's family-friendly event will feature some special Brazilian flare in honour of the students and staff heading there for the July service trip.

 

This festival is a great event for your entire family - and please bring a friend! Admission is free but you must reserve a ticket and pre-purchase ticket tokens for shopping in the marketplace in increments of $2 or $5. (make your purchase below)

 

This event is hosted by Deer Lake School’s PAC (parent advisory council).  All profits from this event will go to the DLS PAC for their distribution to various school projects including the Brazil ‘25 Service Trip.
