We’re turning 60 – and you’re invited to the party!
It’s the perfect time to join us on April 18, 2026, at 6 pm, to honour six decades of God’s faithfulness at Deer Lake School!
Come out and connect with old friends, share memories over a delicious dinner, and help us celebrate the many ways that we are blessed.

This is a ticketed event. Tickets are free, but you must RSVP so we can provide refreshments, meals, and child care based on actual reservations.

Special Kids Zone 6:00-8:30 pm
Kids ages 5-12 will have a special kids zone with games, movies and a classic favourite – pizza!
Pre-schoolers age 4 and under are welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent at all times.

Reception & Open House
Enjoy a delicious mocktail (designed by our DLS students) along with delicious appetisers while you mix and mingle with friends old and new. School Ambassadors will be available to guide guests on a short tour of the school if you’d like to see all the ways Deer Lake School has changed.

Decade Dining
One of our favourite traditions over the past 60 years – multicultural dining! Fill a plate at the buffet, and head to various spaces to dine in decades and connect with your friends, classmates, fellow parents and teachers.

Presentation
Honouring the Past. Celebrating the Present. Building for the Future
You won’t want to miss this powerful reminder of God’s faithfulness at DLS. There will be performances by our students, stories of inspiration, and a glimpse of the school’s vision for the next 60 years.

No anniversary party is complete without cake!
